Alternator - Remove and Install
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
- Remove the belt from the alternator pulley. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

Illustration 1 g02573956 - Remove guard (1). Loosen nuts (2).
- Disconnect harness assemblies (3).
- Remove bolts (4). Remove alternator (5).
- Repeat Steps 1 and 5 for the remaining alternator.
- Position alternator (5). Install bolts (4).
- Install harness assemblies (3).
- Tighten nuts (2).Install guard (1).
- Install the belt onto the alternator pulley. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
- Repeat Steps 1 and 5 for the remaining alternator.
