Description of Change: The flat power conductor braids are now replaced with new silicone power cables. The new silicone power cables are used for power connections between generator terminals and control panel terminals or circuit breakers. The size of the new silicone cables is 4/0 or 120 mm2.
The silicone cables must be inspected at regular intervals. The Operation and Maintenance Manual will recommend the inspection of silicone cable at every 6 months for Standby units or every 2000 hours for Prime units.
Note: The braided cables will continue to be used on packages rated 2000 and 2500 amps only.
Adaptable To: The new silicone cables are adaptable to the serial numbers that are listed in Table 1. The new silicone cables are effective with the serial numbers that are listed in Table 1.
