New Tachometer Drive Adapter Assembly Prevents Failure Of The Seals For the Tachometer Drive Group And Transfer Pump{7462,1256}

Usage:

3408 and 3412 Engines In All Applications;
988B and 992C Loaders;
631D, 633D, 637D and 637D P.P. Tractors

Description of Change: The tachometer drive groups for the above models now have a different design adapter assembly. The shaft of the adapter assembly is held in a vertical position by the tachometer drive housing. Formerly, the shaft was supported (held) by the part into which it was assembled. In this position it was possible for the shaft to fall out of position and permit the tachometer drive seal to be damaged. As a result of this, dirt got into the transfer pump and caused the seals to be damaged.

Adaptable As: Direct replacement on all earlier models shown.
