Fabricated Adapters Permit Horizontal Mounting Of Transmissions On 1P2420 Transmission Repair Stand{0640}

Usage:

Adapters can be fabricated and installed on the 1P2420 Transmission Repair Stand to make it more usable (Illustration 1). With the FT1392 Adapters, the serviceman can put a 7-speed or 8-speed transmission in a horizontal position on the repair stand (Illustration 2). In this position, disassembly and assembly of the transmission especially the transfer gears and hydraulic control, is easier. Use the chart that follows and Illustration 3 to fabricate the FT1392 Adapters.
