1978/01/30 Caterpillar

Stronger Front Support Assembly{1153}

Usage:

3208 Marine Engines

Description of Change: A new, stronger support assembly is available for the 3208 Marine Engines. As shown in the illustrations, the new support assembly has a single gusset for most of the length of the support assembly. The former support assembly had five smaller gussets. Some of the former support assemblies have had failures when the boat was operated in rough water. The new stronger support assembly will prevent these failures.

Adaptable As: The new 7N3756 Support Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 6N7897 Support Assembly which is canceled. The new support assembly can also be used as a replacement for the earlier 2N6606 Support Assembly.
