SERVICE MAGAZINE, MARCH 27, 1978, PAGE 1. In the article "5P8675 Extension Handle Available For General Uses" reference is made to torque measurements. Change the second sentence in the last paragraph to read as follows:
"When the extension handle is used with the 9S7352 Torque Wrench, the actual (real) torque value is twice the value shown on the dial".
--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------
A 5P8675 Extension Handle is now available for use with the 5P3520 Spanner Wrench. When the extension handle is used with the spanner wrench, the serviceman can slide the extension handle over the handle of the spanner wrench and fasten it with a .188" (4.78 mm) by 1.0" (25.4 mm) spring pin.
The 5P8675 Extension Handle also has a .75" (19 mm) square drive hole for use with a .75" (19 mm) drive wrench or torque wrench. When the extension handle is used with the 9S7352 Torque Wrench, the real torque is twice of the value shown on the dial. For example, the extension handle and torque wrench can be used to tighten the piston on the rod for the ejector cylinder of 613B Scrapers.
When used together, these tools have many general uses.
