- Remove the alternator pulley (if equipped).

- Remove bolts (4) from rear adapter assembly (3). Use Tooling (A) to remove rear adapter assembly (3).

- Remove bolts (5). Remove front adapter assembly (6), the shaft, and the drive gear as a unit from the drive housing.
