Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock.

  2. Remove the cab removal group.

  1. Steps 2 through 6 are for the removal of the rear left tire and rim.

  2. Remove bracket (1) and panel (2).

  3. Remove fender cover (3) and fender (4). Use two people to remove fender (5). The weight of fender (5) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).

  4. Use Tooling (A) in order to raise rear tires and rims (5) off the ground by several inches. Position Tooling (B) under the machine, as shown in Illustration 4. Use Tooling (A) in order to lower the machine onto Tooling (B). Remove Tooling (A).

  5. Install suitable cribbing in order to keep oscillating axle (6) level.

  6. Attach a suitable lifting device to left rear tire and rim (5). The weight of left rear tire and rim (5) is approximately 340 kg (750 lb). Remove the bolts and use the suitable lifting device in order to remove tire and rim (5).

  7. Steps 8 through 11 are for the removal of the rear right tire and rim.

  8. Remove fenders (7).

  9. Use Tooling (A) in order to raise rear tires and rims (5) off the ground by several inches. Position Tooling (B) under the machine, as shown in Illustration 9. Use Tooling (A) in order to lower the machine onto Tooling (B). Remove Tooling (A).

  10. Install suitable cribbing in order to keep oscillating axle (6) level.

  11. Attach a suitable lifting device to tire and rim (5). The weight of tire and rim (5) is approximately 340 kg (750 lb). Remove the bolts and use the suitable lifting device in order to remove tire and rim (5).

  12. Steps 13 through 15 are for the removal of the front tires and rims.

  13. Use Tooling (C) in order to raise tires and rims (7) off the ground by several inches . Position Tooling (B) under the machine, as shown in Illustration 13. Use Tooling (C) in order to lower the machine onto Tooling (B). Remove Tooling (C).

  14. Remove fender (8).

  15. Attach a suitable lifting device to tire and rim (7). The weight of tire and rim (7) is approximately 340 kg (750 lb). Remove the bolts and use the suitable lifting device in order to remove tire and rim (7).

  16. Repeat Steps 13 through 15 for the opposite side of the machine.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install tires and rims (5) and (7) in the reverse order of removal.

  2. Tighten tire and rim bolts to a torque of 300 ± 40 N·m (220 ± 30lb ft) turn an additional 60° ± 5°.
