Pressure Sensor (Cooled Exhaust Gas) - Remove and Install - Differential Pressure Sensor and Absolute Pressure Sensor

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect harness assembly (1) from absolute pressure sensor (2).

  2. Remove absolute pressure sensor (2) from the sensor manifold.

  3. Disconnect harness assembly (5) from differential pressure sensor (4).

  4. Remove bolts (3) and differential pressure sensor (4) from the sensor manifold.

  5. Remove O-ring seal (6) from absolute pressure sensor (2). Discard O-ring seal (6).

  6. Remove O-ring seals (7) from differential pressure sensor (4). Discard O-ring seals (7).

Installation Procedure


NOTICE

Ensure that wiring harness are correctly routed and the cable straps are not over tightened. Over tightening of the cable straps will damage the wiring harness convoluting.


  1. Install absolute pressure sensor (2) and differential pressure sensor (4) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten bolts (3) to torque of 22 N·m (195 lb in).

    2. Tighten absolute sensor (2) to torque of 10 N·m (89 lb in).
