Throttle Pedal Sensor Calibration{1269, 1913, 5736, 5737, 7610, 7620}

Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the information that is identified below.

Problem

The accelerator pedal position sensor on the above listed machines becomes out of calibration. Becoming out of calibration results in low travel speed, followed by not shifting into high gear. Software goes back to default at Key Off and does not remember new settings.

Solution

Until new software is released, do the following within a one second cycle time:

Turn the key to the On position (Do not need to run the engine), and press the accelerator pedal to the floor and release.

Note: You do not have to start and rev the engine to maximum RPM.
