Soot Sensor - Remove and Install

Usage:

Removal Procedure

  1. Turn disconnect switch (1) to the OFF position.

  2. Open hood (2) and hood (3).

  3. Disconnect harness assemblies (4). Remove the cable straps (5).

  4. Remove cable straps (6).

  5. Disconnect harness assembly (7).

  6. Remove bolts (9) and soot sensor (8).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install soot sensor (8) in the reverse order of removal.

  2. Tighten harness assemblies (4) to a torque of 1.2 ± 0.2 N·m (11 ± 2 lb in).
