Description of Change: The existing accumulators have been replaced with new accumulators that have an improved nitrogen charging valve. Also, the new accumulators have an improved backup ring seal for the end cap. These changes will improve service life.

Adaptable To: Existing accumulators and all older accumulator models, not listed in table 1, can be reworked with the new 325-7163 Seal Kit and the new 158-2336 Gas Valve.

Note: The new 325-7163 Seal Kit and the new 158-2336 Gas Valve are applicable to all models listed at the beginning of this article.

The new accumulators are serviceable. The new accumulators have replaced the past accumulators. Refer to table 1 for the correct model number and the correct part number.

Note: The sealing surface of the new nitrogen valve differs from the original nitrogen valve. Before installing the new nitrogen valve, clean the end cap in the sealing area of the new nitrogen valve. The new accumulators are effective in production in the following machines:
