Temperature Adapter Group Can Be Used With A Caterpillar Multimeter{0776,0785}

Usage:

All Machines

A new 6V9130 Temperature Adapter Group can be used with any Caterpillar high impedance digital multimeter. The 6V9130 Temperature Adapter Group includes the 6V9129 Temperature Adapter and the 6V9131 Thermocouple Probe.

The 6V9129 Temperature Adapter converts the input from a K-type Thermocouple to 1 mV/°C or 1 mV/°F output, for use with Caterpillar 6V3030, 6V7070 or 6V7800 Digital Multimeters. If the adapter (with the 6V9131 K-type Thermocouple attached) is plugged into the VOLT and COMMON inputs of a multimeter, the temperature will be displayed on the multimeter.

The 6V9129 Temperature Adapter operates on a nine volt battery.

An 8T458 Thermocouple Wire can be used to take temperature measurements in areas where a probe is not necessary. Because the thermocouple wire has less mass, the response time is faster than that of the 6V9131 Thermocouple Probe.

Additional accessories are also available. The 6V3073 Carrying Case, Form SEES5666 Decal, 8T485 Foam Block, and 6V4094 Foam Top can be purchased to store the 6V9129 Temperature Adapter, 6V9131 Thermocouple Probe, 8T458 Thermocouple Wire, and the 6V3030, 6V7070 or 6V7800 Digital Multimeter and Probes.
