Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the bulldozer lift cylinders. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bulldozer Lift Cylinder - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.

1. Fasten a hoist to support assembly (2) .

2. Remove the bolts and retainers that hold pins (3) in place.

3. Remove pins (3) and link assembly (1) .

4. Remove the bolt and retainer (5) .

5. Remove pin (4) and remove support assembly (2) from the machine. The weight of the support assembly is 52 kg (115.0 lb).

6. If necessary, remove bushing (6) from the main frame.

1. If bushing (6) was removed, lower the temperature of the bushing and install the bushing in the main frame.

2. Put support assembly (2) into position and install pin (4) .

3. Install retainer (5) and the bolt that holds pin (4) in position.

4. Put link assembly (1) in place and install pins (3). Install the retainers and the bolts that hold pins (3) .

End By: Install the bulldozer lift cylinders. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bulldozer Lift Cylinder - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
