Start By:

  1. Remove the idler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Elevator Chain Adjustment Idler- Remove". The information is in this manual.

  1. Remove nut (1) and bracket (2) from roller (3) .

  1. Remove four shims (4) and shield (5) from roller (3) .

  1. Remove four bolts (6) and cap (7) from roller (3) .

  1. Remove bolt (8) from roller (3) .

  1. Remove washer (9) from roller (3) .

  1. Remove roller bearing (10) from roller (3) .

  1. Remove spacer (11) from roller (3) .

  1. Remove lip seal (12) from roller (3) . Remove roller bearing (13) from roller (3) .

  1. Use Tooling (A) and a press to remove bearing race (14) from roller (3) . Repeat the procedure for the other bearing race.
