Assembly Procedure

- Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
- Use Tooling (A) and a press to install bearing race (14) to roller (3) . Install the race until the race is seated in the roller. Repeat the procedure for the other bearing race.

- Install roller bearing (13) to roller (3) . Pack the roller bearing with 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease before installing. Use Tooling (A) to install lip seal (12) to roller (3) .

- Install spacer (11) to roller (3) .

- Install roller bearing (10) to roller (3) . Pack the roller bearing with 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease before installing.

- Install cap (7) and four bolts (6) to roller (3) .

- Install bracket (2) and nut (1) to roller (3) . Use the grease fitting on the other side to fill the roller with 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease .
