Parking Brake - Install
Installation Procedure
- Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
- Install parking brake assembly (9) and four bolts (10) to the transmission case.

- Install flange (6) , washer (8) and bolt (7) to parking brake assembly (9) .

- Install brake drum (5) and eight bolts (4) to flange (6) . Install clevis pin (2) and cotter pin (1) to yoke rod end (3) .

- Adjust the parking brake. Refer to Specifications, SENR5629 for information on adjusting the parking brake.
