Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Lubricate all O-ring seals with Tooling (A) .
- Position the gasket and engine oil cooler (8) on the engine.

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury. To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment. |

- Position the gasket and oil cooler base (7) on the engine.
- Install bolts (6) .
- Install engine oil cooler bypass valve (5) .
- Position housing (4) on the oil cooler base. Install bolts (3) .

- Connect tube assemblies (2). Install hose assembly (1) .
End By: Install the heat exchanger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heat Exchanger - Install".
