Start By:
- Remove the auxiliary water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Auxiliary Water Pump - Remove".

- Remove nut (1) .

- Remove lip seal (5) from mounting plate (4) .

- Use Tooling (E) to drive pump impeller (8) off the water pump shaft.

- Remove the key from the water pump shaft.
- Remove O-ring seal (9) .

- Remove bolt (10) , the O-ring seal, and cam (11) .
- Remove plate (12) . Inspect locator pin (13) .

- Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (14) .

- Use a suitable press to press shaft (16) out of the water pump housing from the impeller end of the water pump housing.

- Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining rings (17) . Remove washers (18) .
