138-8361 Pivot Shaft Seal Guard Not Compatible With Certain D9R Track-Type Tractors

TRACK-TYPE TRACTORSD9R (7TL1212-UP, 8BL1422-UP) TRACK-TYPE TRACTORS
Problem:
138-8361 Pivot Shaft Seal Guard is not compatible with D9R Track-Type Tractors 7TL1212-Up and 8BL1422-Up. These machines have improved track roller frame alignment that increases undercarriage life in most applications. The 138-8361 seal guard assembly is intended to prevent packing around the 8T-0208 pivot shaft seal that can lead to seal failure. The 138-8361 seal guard assembly cannot be installed on these machines due to interference of the guard with the track roller frame.
