Usage:

IT38G (1CW) WHEEL LOADERS

Problem:

Brake Stop Light Switch was installed on right brake pedal and was subject to damaged by operator's foot.

Solution:

The Brake Stop Light Switch has been relocated on left brake pedal. This change has been implemented in production on machine S/N:

938G (6WS1918 - UP)

IT38G (1CW368 - UP)

For field machines, it's possible to implement this change by reworking the current parts. Rework procedure to install Brake Stop Light Switch on left brake pedal:

Parts needed:

Left Side View of Cab

Drill two holes on left side of Brake Pedal Support to allow Bracket As (1707064) installation (see drawing above for holes location).

Existing Wires (no. 103B & 604A) on Cab harness need to be extended to reach left side of Brake Pedal Support.
