The new Special Instruction, REHS1708, "Installation of the Advanced Digital Engine Management (ADEM) III on G3606 and G3608 Engines" is available. This Special Instruction describes the procedures for ordering and installing the ADEM III control system for the G3606 and G3608 Engines. The ADEM III control system replaces the Caterpillar Ignition System (CIS).
Paper copies of this Special Instruction are available through normal channels for literature distribution. This Special Instruction is also available for electronic distribution in the Service Information System (SIS).
