Usage:
3304 And 3306 Industrial Engines Built To 1W2468 And 1W2469 Arrangements
Description of Change: New cylinder head groups with new valves and exhaust inserts are used on the above engines. These new cylinder head groups are used in engines made for use in underground mining equipment, where high exhaust back pressure and high exhaust temperatures are present. The new valves and inserts are made to be used with higher exhaust temperatures.
The former valves and inserts are still used in applications with lower exhaust temperature.
Adaptable As: The new parts are in effect with Serial Number 23C1818 (3304 Engine) and 2B15964 (3306 Engine) built to 1W2468 and 1W2469 Arrangements. The new parts are direct replacements for the former parts on earlier engines, as shown in the chart.
