Torque/Pressure Conversion Table For 6V200 Hydraulic Wrench{0614,0623}

Usage:

The 6V200 Hydraulic Wrench is a general purpose tool used to tighten fasteners. It is best used to give fasteners their final torque, or the initial torque needed to loosen them. Special Instruction, Form No. SMHS7657 gives complete instructions for use of the wrench.

Fastened to the wrench is a torque/pressure conversion table decal, Form No. SEHS7611. This table gives conversions of pressure to torque in both English and metric units.

If this decal becomes damaged, the serviceman does not have any other reference for these conversions. A new decal must be ordered because the current Special Instruction for use of the wrench does not show the conversion table.

If the decal on the 6V200 Hydraulic Wrench becomes damaged, the conversion table which follows can be used as a reference until a new decal can be ordered. The table has the same information as the decal plus a formula to find other pressure/torque values not shown.

Use the formula which follows to find other pressure torque values not shown on the conversion table decal.

NOTICE

The pressure and torque values on the conversion table decal, Form No. SEHS7611 and in this article are only for use with the 6V200 Hydraulic Wrench.
