  4. Install both brackets (H) and (F) onto the flywheel housing that were saved in Step 1.

Note: Ensure the bolt hole distance (N) and (P) between installed brackets (H) and (F), has a measurement of 253.0 mm (9.96 inch). Tighten the four bolts (R) to a torque of 43 ± 5 N·m (32 ± 4 lb ft).

  5. Install the three new studs (4) and set the new gasket (6) to the turbocharger. Tighten the studs (4) to a torque of 23 ± 2 N·m (204 ± 18 lb in).

  6. Install the new bellows assembly (3) to the new muffler (1) which was modified in Step 3. Insert the bellows assembly (3) to the new clamp assembly (2) which was modified in the Step 2 and join them with the muffler as shown in Illustration 1.

  8. Install U-Bolts (A) onto the brackets (F) and (H) that were saved in Step 1.

Note: Verify the 253.0 mm (9.96 inch) distance between the center blot holes (N) and (P) have been maintained.

  9. Tighten the upper nuts (S) to a specified torque of 35 ± 6 N·m (26 ± 4 lb ft) and the bottom nuts (U) to a specified torque of 10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in).

Note: The length of the U-Bolts under the brackets should be dimension (T).
