Electrohydraulic Oil Pressure - Measure - Adjustment Procedure

The 1U-5481 Pressure Gauge Group is used to MEASURE the pressure in the system. The 1U-5482 Pressure Adapter Group is used to ADJUST the pressure in the system.

Remove dust cap (1) from pressure fitting (2).
Use the pressure gauge and the proper coupler in order to connect the pressure gauge to pressure fitting (2). Refer to Table 1 for the correct coupler.

Loosen locknut (5).
Start the engine and operate the engine at the rated speed.
Use an allen wrench in order to turn adjusting bolt (4). Set the pressure to 1380 ± 70 kPa (200 ± 10 psi).
Turn the adjusting bolt clockwise in order to increase the pressure. Turn the adjusting bolt counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure.
After the pressure is correct, tighten locknut (5).
Stop the engine.
Disconnect the pressure gauge from pressure fitting (2). Install dust cap (1).
