This system indicates that the engine may crank. This indication is provided via a relay. The relay provides a common ground and a normally open contact. The operation will cycle between an energized state and a de-energized state until the engine starts or the number of crank cycles is reached. This cycle is defined by cycle crank time and the maximum number of crank cycles. Cycle crank time is a measurement of time. The relay will be energized and de-energized during cycle crank time. Both times are equal. The maximum number of crank cycles is the number of cycles of energizing and de-energizing. Use of this relay is a function of the installation.
