Gutter Brush Contact Area

Only a portion of the gutter brush contacts the sweeping surface when the gutter brush is adjusted properly. Refer to Illustration 1 for the contact areas when the gutter brush is mounted on the left side of the pickup broom or on the right side of the pickup broom.

1. Lower the gutter brush onto the sweeping surface.

2. Loosen two bolts (1) that hold motor mounting plate (4) to bracket (2) .

3. Rotate the motor mounting plate and adjust tension chain (3) in order to achieve the desired contact area.

4. Tighten the two bolts.

1. Loosen nut (1) .

2. Adjust bolt (2) inward or adjust bolt (2) outward until the gutter brush swings approximately 13 mm (0.5 inch).

3. Tighten the nut.
