Description of Change: The retaining ring that secures the output shaft in the final drive motor group is improved. The new retaining ring is designed for application with shafts that have an external ring groove. The new ring improves the service life of the motor group.
Adaptable To: The new 8T-4241 Retaining Ring replaces the former 6V-5589 Ring in the 7Y-4238 Motor Group. It is adaptable to the models listed. The illustration shows the location of the new retaining ring in the motor group.
