New Load Sensing Signal Relief Valve Prevents Wear Between Load Piston And Housing{5117}

Usage:

5130 (5ZL),
5130B (4CS),
5230 (7LL) Excavators

New 155-8404 Load Sensing Signal Relief Valve (B) is a direct replacement for former 112-3299 Load Sensing Signal Relief Valve (C) in implement control valves for the following machines:

* 5130 128-6981 Valve
* 5130B 146-0013 Valve & 146-0014 Valve.
* 5230 128-6980 Implement Control Valve Group.

The piston (4) in the former 112-3299 Load Sensing Signal Relief Valve (C) could rotate, causing wear to the housing. New 155-8404 Load Sensing Signal Relief Valve (B) uses 9J-5491 Spring (3) to prevent rotation of piston (4).

Typical Implement Control Valve

(B) New 155-8404 Load Sensing Signal Relief Valve.
(3) 9J-5491 Spring.
(4) Piston.
(C) Former 112-3299 Load Sensing Signal Relief Valve.
(1) Adapter.
(2) Adjuster.
(4) Piston.

Former 112-3299 Load Sensing Signal Relief Valve (C) can be upgraded, by installing 9J-5491 Spring (3), as follows:

1. Remove adapter (1) from adjuster (2) in former 112-3299 Load Sensing Signal Relief Valve (C).

2. Install 9J-5491 Spring (3) into adjuster (2).

3. Install adapter (1) and tighten to a torque of 150 ± 15 N·m (110 ± 11 lb ft).

4. Adjust track and implement pressures per "Test and Adjust" Service Manual Module.
