Usage:
214B FT (9MF),
224B (7WF) Excavators
New final drive parts are now available to service certain final drive parts for the wheel-type excavators listed above. A new internal gear replaces a gear and a carrier gear. A new piston replaces a collar. A smaller seal replaces the former seal. The replacement of the two former gears reduces the gear play which increases the stability of the machines during operation.
Chart A identifies the new and former parts for use in 214B steering and rear axle and for the 224B rear axle. All of the new parts must be replaced as a group.
See either chart for parts identification.
Chart B identifies the new and former parts for use in 214B steering and rear axle and for the 224B steering axle. All of the new parts must be replaced as a group.
