Description of Change: A new improved alternator guard assembly has been released for use on the machines listed above. The new guard assembly has been designed to be less susceptible to cracking and will provide better service life.

Adaptable To: A new 151-0170 Alternator Guard Assembly replaces the former 122-8096 Alternator Guard Assembly. The alternator groups that are affected are 125-9204, 145-0616 and 107-2712. The new guard assembly is used on current production product and is adaptable to all earlier models. The parts that are required for adapting the new guard assembly to earlier models include: one 151-0170 Alternator Guard Assembly, one 1D-5117 Nut, one 7X-0325 Bolt and two 8T-4223 Washers.
