VIMS-PC is not configured to upload Source software from one diskette and Configuration software from another. Whenever possible, transfer both files to the VIMSDATA directory on the Service tools (computer) hard drive and upload from there.

When diskettes are required, VIMS source and configuration software must be uploaded to the on-board system from a single diskette on the "A:" drive. Perform the following procedure to copy both files onto a single diskette:

1. Copy the configuration file from the diskette to the PC's hard drive.

2. Copy the configuration file from the PC's hard drive onto the other diskette that contains the source file.

3. Perform the upload of the source and configuration as usual with the "A:"drive designated as the default file location for the upload.

NOTE: Refer to the VIMS Service Manual Module or the VIMS Users Procedures Manual, for detailed instruction on how to upload the VIMS source and configuration software.
