Description Of Change: Updated machine system and grade control software and a new water spray valve group are now used on the machines listed above. The performance of the water spray pump will be improved by replacing the existing water spray valve group and installing the updated transmission software. The new water spray valve group and transmission software will remove water spray system instability and improve water spray pump efficiency. Additional planned software updates, unrelated to this issue, are available for other machine Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) and will be installed in conjunction with this update.
Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.

The new 529-0219 Bank Valve Gp (1) replaces the former 481-8148 Bank Valve Gp. The new 523-2294 Power Train Software Gp replaces the existing 519-2250 Power Train Software Gp.
The new software groups are available in the form of a flash file through the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS). A newer part number may be available. SIS Web only displays the latest available flash file.
