Removal Procedure

1. Remove four bolts (2), the four washers, and four walkways (1).

2. Remove the four bolts, the four washers, and plate assembly (3).

3. If equipped, disconnect the two harness assemblies for the rear lights.

4. Remove the five bolts, the five washers, and cover assembly (4).

5. Repeat Step 4 for the cover assembly on the opposite side.

6. Remove the four bolts, the four washers, and tube assembly (5).

7. Remove the four bolts, the four washers, and tube assembly (6).

8. Repeat Step 6 and Step 7 for the tube assemblies on the opposite side.

9. Cut cable strap (7).

10. Remove the two bolts, the two washers, and grease block (8).

11. Use two people or a suitable lifting device to remove platform support (9). The weight of platform support (9) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

12. Remove the four bolts, the four washers, and platform support (9).

13. Use two people or a suitable lifting device to remove platform support (10). The weight of platform support (10) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

14. Remove the four bolts, the four washers, and platform support (10).

Installation Procedure

1. Install platform support (10) and platform support (9) in the reverse order of removal.
