The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
During normal operation, Tope may stop responding during times of camera switching.
Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem but a permanent repair has not been defined. This affects only Tope 3.8 running Vision or Vision and Radars on the Color Multi-Purpose Display (CMPD) display.
As an interim action, manually reset the display by removing power or shutting down the machine and turning OFF the master disconnect switch. Then wait for the display to shut down completely.
If required, reinstall the Tope software using a USB connection to the display.
Ensure that all issues are logged with support through Salesforce for tracking purposes.
