Right Side of Machine (1) Shift valve (2) Shift solenoid | |
Shift valve (1) is located in the engine compartment on the right side of the machine. The right side compartment door provides access to the valve.
Shift solenoid (2) in shift valve (1) controls flow of charge oil to the two-speed circuit in the front left and right hydraulic motor. When the solenoid is energized, the front left and right propulsion motors operate at high speed with low torque. When the solenoid is not energized, the front motors operate at low speed with high torque.
Ports on shift valve (1) are marked for identification as follows:
- Port"IN" is the inlet port for charge supply oil.
- Port"T" is the return port. Oil from this port is directed to tank.
