When reporting the repair, use "PS46012" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing rain channel may be installed upside down on a certain XQ60 Rental Generator Sets. If the existing rain channel is installed incorrectly, it can direct rain water towards the front of the radiator. |

Locate package for inspection, refer to image 1.1.1 Through the plenum located at the top of the front of the package, refer to image 1.1.2., inspect package for correct orientation of radiator rain gutter panel support 485-3139. This opening in the roof is 1.82 meters above the ground, so you should use a 2 step ladder with hand rail or equivalent. There are 2 supports. One support is located at the top of the radiator opening. The other support is located at the bottom edge of the radiator opening. |

When the radiator rain gutter panel support is correctly installed the round corner of the gutter edge should be viewable from the plenum. Refer to Image 1.2.1. If a chamfered corner can be seen then the orientation is incorrect. Refer to Image 1.2.2. If the gutter panel supports are installed correctly then no further action is required. If the gutter panel supports are installed incorrectly they may channel water into the package and they must be reoriented following the below procedure. |

If it is necessary to remove and replace the rain channels, then the front access panel must be removed. Locate access panel on front of package, refer to image 1.3.1. Remove 8 bolts fastening panel to front of package. Remove panel. Retain panel and bolts. |

To re orientate, remove 3 rivets attaching each support to panel. Rivets can be removed by drilling out. Use 3/16? dia drill bit to drill out only the rivet head. Use care to not damage supports during rivet removal. Retain supports. Do not remove or damage seal between radiator and supports. Refer to Image 1.4.1. |

Reinstall supports. Supports must be installed with angled edges toward the radiator and round edge corners toward front of packages. Carefully insert back edge of support into radiator seal. Refer to Image 1.5.1. |

Finish installation by installing three 6C3679 rivets in each support. Caulk all seams. |

Reinstall front panel using original fasteners. Tighten each bolt to 12 +/- 3 Nm. |
