PROBLEM
| The existing exhaust manifold bracket does not provide adequate support on certain CG170-16, G3512H, G3516H, and G3520H Generator Sets. The potential for bellows misalignment can lead to early-hours bellows failures. |

ACTION REQUIRED
| Group 1 - Needs new brackets, gussets, and alignment. Group 2 - Needs gussets and alignment. Both groups are to use the attached Rework Procedure. Group 2 will use the existing 454-9483 bracket, 454-9486 bracket, and 454-9488 plates in steps 4, 5, and 11. These steps are required to update the hardware and other components. |
