Group 1: Update the Engine, Aftertreatment and DCU software files to the latest available in SIS. Replace the failed diesel exhaust fluid manifold with the new production design manifold that is available (528-0527 replaces 516-2727, 528-0537 replaces 516-2737 or 528-0550 replaces 516-2750). Only one of the three manifolds listed for this group is required on each repair, make sure to use the correct one as replacement. Use the new 391-5262 gasket when installing a new manifold.

Group 2: Update the Engine, Aftertreatment and DCU software files to the latest available in SIS. Replace the failed diesel exhaust fluid manifold with the new production design manifold (528-0550) that is available. Use the new 391-5262 gasket when installing a new manifold.

Group 3: Update the Engine, Aftertreatment and DCU software files to the latest available in SIS. Replace the failed diesel exhaust fluid manifold with the new production design manifold that is available (528-0527). Use the new 391-5262 gasket when installing a new manifold.

Group 4: Update the Engine, Aftertreatment and DCU software files to the latest available in SIS. Replace the failed diesel exhaust fluid manifold with the new production design manifold that is available (528-0537). Use the new 391-5262 gasket when installing a new manifold.

Group 5 and Group 6: Update the Engine, Aftertreatment and DCU software files to the latest available in SIS. Replace the failed diesel exhaust fluid manifolds (front and rear engines) with the new production design manifolds listed in the parts needed. Use the new 391-5262 gasket when installing each new manifold.

PARTS DISPOSITION

NACD:

Hold all Manifold Gp parts for a Parts Return Request (PRR). A Parts Return Request (PRR) will be issued to you through the Send-It-Back process after the claim is submitted. Make sure to list the service letter program number on the packing slip and include the closed work order paperwork. Handle all other parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.

If a Parts Return Request (PRR) is not issued to you after 30 days through the Send-It-Back process, handle the parts in accordance with your warranty bulletin on warranty parts handling.

EAME, LACD, and APD:

Hold all Manifold Gp parts for 30 days for a possible Parts Return Request (PRR). Make sure to list the service letter program number on the packing slip and include the closed work order paperwork. Handle all other parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.

If a Parts Return Request (PRR) is not issued to you after 30 days through the Send-It-Back process, handle the parts in accordance with your warranty bulletin on warranty parts handling.
