When reporting the repair, use "PS53134" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The swash plates can become damaged, cracked, or broken on certain 345D, 349D/D2/E/F, and 352F Excavators. The swash plates may hang up in the pump, not allowing pump to go to full displacement, resulting in reduced flow output. |

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling. |
If the speed of one of the crawler is too slow and the other crawler is normal when traveling, perform following steps. 1. Start the engine and set the engine speed dial to 10. |
2. Check the pump pressure with the levers at neutral position by monitor. If the pump pressure is lower than standby pressure, proceed to the next step. If the pressure is over standby pressure, adjust the setting by referring to: For 349F and 352F machines, refer to UENR2955, Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Control (Output Flow) - Adjust", For 345D, 349D, and 349D2 machines, refer to KENR6775, Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Control (Output Flow) - Adjust". For 349E machines, refer to KENR9605, Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Control (Output Flow) - Adjust". Refer to Image1.2.1. |

3. Remove the regulators and look into the inside of the pump. - If the regulator pin is broken, perform following Rework Procedure. - If the regulator pin is not broken, adjust the setting by referring to: For 349F and 352F machines, refer to UENR2955, Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Control (Output Flow) - Adjust", For 345D, 349D, and 349D2 machines, refer to KENR6775, Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Control (Output Flow) - Adjust". Rework Procedure: 1. Replace the 247-8712 Pin Assemblies of the main hydraulic pump with new 488-4578 Pin Assemblies. Note: If the pin assemblies were failed, the other pin assembly is required to be replaced at the same time. For 349F and 352F machines, refer to UENR0194, Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Hydraulic Pump". For 345D, 349D and 349D2 machines, refer to RENR9574, Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Hydraulic Pump and Pump Drive Coupling" and "Main Hydraulic Pump and Pump Drive Coupling". For 349E machines, refer to KENR9848, Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Hydraulic Pump". |
