Oil Filter Group Improved{1318}

Usage:

3516 (4MJ) Marine Engine

Description of Change: The oil filter group has been improved in several ways. A new steel relief valve plunger replaces the former plunger. The new plunger is less likely to stick during cold starts. A new stronger filter support bracket assembly and a new stronger shield assembly are used. The new bracket assembly and shield assembly will provide increased service life. A new filter element is used. The new element has a stronger center tube to help prevent ruptures.

Adaptable To: The illustration and chart identify the new components in the improved 7E9480 Oil Filter Group. The new components are in effect with 3516 Marine Engine (4MJ150). The new components are adaptable to all earlier 3516 Marine Engines.
