Description of Change: A new connecting rod assembly is used. An improved method is used to drill the bolt holes in the rod. The use of the new spherical tip bolt holes results in increased fatigue strength in the rod.
Adaptable To: The new 1013281 Connecting Rod Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 7C8608 Connecting Rod Assembly. The former connecting rod assembly is canceled. The new connecting rod assembly still includes the same 7C8609 Sleeve Bearing and 7N2405 Bolts that were used in the former connecting rod assembly.
