Description of Change: A new service seal is used in the Altronic III Magneto. The new seal is manufactured from a silicone material while the former seal used rubber material. The new seal positions the sealing lips on a new area of the magneto drive shaft. The new seal requires a special installation sleeve to prevent damage to the seal during installation.
Adaptable To: The new 3E6716 Seal is a direct replacement for the former 8T2573 Seal. The former seal is canceled. The new seal must be installed with the new 6I2539 Installation Sleeve. An 6I2539 Installation Sleeve and the Reference Special Instruction are included with each new seal.
