New 7E5085 Bushing Replaces Former 2M4314 Bushing In Fuel Injection Pump Groups{1251}
Usage:
Description of Change: A new phosphate-coated bushing (charcoal colored) is used in the fuel injection pump group. A shallow lip is machined on the top side of the bushing for easy identification. The new bushing requires less torque 160 ± 14 N·m (120 ± 10 lb ft) when installed. The former zinc-plated bushing was tightened to 205 ± 14 N·m (153 ± 10 lb ft).
Adaptable To: The new 7E5085 Bushing is a direct replacement for the former 2M4314 Bushing.
NOTE: Tightening the new bushing to the former bushing torque may result in damage to the fuel injection pump housing.
