Sealed Alternators Available For Earthmoving Applications{1405}
Usage:
Some applications require an alternator that is sealed to the elements, especially from corrosive materials like fertilizer. The alternators in the chart satisfy this requirement.
Only the 6N5460 Alternator is totally sealed. The others have internal electrical connections contained in a sealed compartment. The stator, field coil and rotor are open to cooling air.
NOTE: There is NO sealed version for 35 Amp (6N9294 Alternator) applications. Replace directly with 0R5206 Alternator (50 amps).
