New Tube And Bracket Provide Clearance For Alternator{1380,1405}

Description of Change: A new tube, bracket, and nut are used in the water lines group. The new tube contains several new angles and is sightly longer to accommodate these changes. The new bracket is designed to secure the new tube. The new hex nut is hardened to allow it to retain its torque under vibration. When used together, the new parts provide adequate clearance for installation of a 60 ampere alternator.

Adaptable To: The part number for the improved 7C3044 Water (By-Pass) Lines Group has not changed. The new 7E9075 Tube (1) is a direct replacement for the former 7C3041 Tube. The new 7E9329 Bracket (2) is a direct replacement for the former 7C3042 Bracket. See Illustration 1. The new 1F7958 Hardened Nut (3) replaces the former 1D4719 Nut. See Illustration 2. This change is adaptable to first production.
