Usage:
3516 Spark-Ignited Engines Used In Landfill Applications
Description of Change: A new water temperature regulator is used in 3516 Spark-Ignited Engines used in landfill applications. The original thermostat straps were made of brass. These straps were failing due to embrittlement caused by stress corrosion from ammonia or sulfur that can be present in the cooling water. The new thermostat has straps made of stainless steel. Also, a power pill wiper seal and a teflon wiper sleeve have been added to prevent sticking of the power piston.
Adaptable To: The new 4P3767 Water Temperature Regulator is a direct replacement for the former 9Y8966 Water Temperature Regulator.
