Usage:
3406B (4RG) Generator Set Engines
Description of Change: A new oil pressure sender assembly is used in the oil pressure and water temperature sender group. The new sender provides more reliable readings for the 4W2065 Oil Pressure Indicator. Previously, the former pressure sender produced inaccurate readings. This could indicate possible service requirements or failure of the system when in reality, the system was functioning within specification.
Adaptable To: The new 302010 Pressure Sender Assembly replaces the former 9X1124 Pressure Sender Assembly in the improved 9Y4557 Oil Pressure And Water Temperature Sender Group. This change is effective with 3406B (4RG901) Building Service Standby (BSSB) Generator Set Engines with the 9Y1300 Control Panel Chart (Electro-Mechanical Control Panel). This change is also adaptable to first production.

NOTE: Parts Manual, SEBP1804, "3406B Generator Set Engine", Page 101, for 3406B (4RG1-Up) Engines, incorrectly lists Item 2 as 7W2717 Sender (Oil Press) in the 9Y4557 Oil Pressure And Water Temperature Sender Group. The correct part number is 302010 Pressure Sender Assembly.
