New Expansion Tank Used{1354}

Usage:

3508, 3512, 3516 Industrial, Marine And Generator Set Engines

Description of Change: A new, stronger expansion tank is used in the expansion tank groups. The back wall of the new expansion tank is thicker [10 mm (.4") versus 5 mm (.2") on the former tank] and the support for the new tank is a part of the bottom plate. The thicker wall and fewer welds on the bottom plate make the new tank stronger.

Adaptable To: The chart and illustration identify the new components. The new expansion tank assembly (1), two bolts (2) and two washers (3) are direct replacements for the former expansion tank assembly which has been canceled, the former support and hardware. The new components are effective with 3508 (96Y1040, 69Z514), 3512 (50Y874, 66Z379), 3516 (29Z919, 72Z405) Marine Engines.
